Dr. Michael Nason
Dr. Michael Nason was born in San Francisco, CA but his family settled in Morris County, New Jersey by the time he was 5. Dr. Nason received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
Having a strong interest in healthcare, and having himself worn glasses since he was 2 1/2, Dr. Nason decided to pursue a career in Optometry. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA where he earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in 1990 and Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992.
Within three days of graduating from Optometry school, Dr. Nason and his wife Dr. Carol Hecker Nason, also a PCO graduate, moved to South Florida. Dr. Nason completed an ocular disease-based residency program at Aran and Holbrook Eye Associates in North Miami Beach, FL. He spent a few years as the sole staff Optometrist at the Miami Eye Center before moving up to Palm Beach County. In August 1996, Dr. Nason took over his current practice in West Palm Beach.
Dr. Nason and his wife are currently enjoying the whirlwind life of having three teenagers in the house. In his spare time he is an avid music collector and concert attendee.
Dr. Steven L. Silverstone
Dr. Steven Silverstone was born in Brooklyn, New York but his family settled in Monmouth County, New Jersey by the time he was 5. Dr. Silverstone received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Glassboro State College, in Glassboro, NJ.
Having difficulty with his own vision, Dr. Silverstone went to see the eye doctor. He quickly became interested in the eye and how it worked and decided to pursue a carrer in Optometry. He attended Southeastern University College of Optometry in North Miami, FL where he earned an additional Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. In his last year of school, there was a merger between Nova and Southeastern University and the school was now called Nova Southeastern University, this is where Dr. Silverstone earned and received his Doctor of Optometry in 1994.
